    Global Communities is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Partnership & Programs team at the headquarters in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.

    Responsibilities

    1. Coordinates pricing and budgeting processes for assigned proposals.

     

    • Reads assigned donor solicitations and ensures team leads are informed of possible pricing issues / questions.
    • Develops proposal budgeting and pricing strategies for assigned proposals. Provides cost/pricing input into the proposal development process.
    • Reviews budgets and budget documents to ensure adherence to procedures, requirements and regulations.
    • Cordinates and prepares budgets for assigned proposals and submits to manager for final review.
    • Writes complete budget narratives for the assigned proposal.
    • Develops pricing questions for solicitations when necessary.
    • Assists pricing team with budget notes for other proposals as assigned.
    • Resolves budget and pricing issues for assigned proposals.
    • Attends and participates in meetings throughout the proposal development process.
    • Interacts with proposal team leads throughout the proposal process.
    • Responds to final budget related questions when needed.

     

    2. Discusses and negotiates, where necessary, costs and budgets with proposal partners as needed.

    • Coordinates the budget process with proposal partners in a timely manner.
    • Ensures partner budget and budget narratives are consistent.

     

    3. Supports proposal positioning efforts by conducting market research and competitive analyses.

     

    4. Undertakes all other duties and projects as may be assigned from time to time.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • General understanding/knowledge of donor regulations including CFR226.
    • Strong analytical skills. Ability to work with large amounts of data.
    • Ability to relate and communicate effectively internationally.
    • Fluency in English, written and oral. Abilities in a second language preferred (Spanish, French or Arabic preferred).
    • Very good interpersonal skills. Team player.
    • Advanced ability in the use of Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
    • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
    • Accuracy, attention to detail.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents and ability to sit at a computer and operate a keyboard.

    Qualifications

    • A Master's degree in relevant discipline and 0-2 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience.
    • Experience with field program implementation a plus.
      Equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must have U.S. work authorization.
